My Experience

I’m a dedicated and experienced nanny with a heart full of love for little ones. Over the past two years, I've been an integral part of a wonderful Brazilian family, caring for their three crazy but adorable children. I've been immersing myself in learning Portuguese, adding a fun linguistic twist to our daily interactions.

Prior to my nanny journey, I had the joy of being a horse riding instructor in the heart of West London. From individual lessons to groups of 4-5 youngsters aged 4 years and above, my days were filled with laughter, learning, and the unmistakable sound of hooves. It was instilling a sense of safety, teaching the art of equestrian joy, and fostering an environment where fun and responsibility coexist.
My stint as an instructor wasn't just confined to the young ones; my oldest client was a vibrant 68-year-old. This diverse experience has equipped me with a unique set of skills, allowing me to connect with children of all ages. Leaving the stables was bittersweet, but my full-time aviation job transitioned into shift work, and eventually lead me to West Sussex.

I am incredibly patient when it comes to children of all ages and abilities - this is down to my motherly nature and also experience in working with children at the stables. Communication is key - and you can always make fun of "boring" tasks.

I am very open-minded with activities with children, whether it be indoors or outdoors, on your feet exercises or sitting down tasks. Keeping the child's mind busy with exploration teaches them more about the world than social media and TV.

Tidy and Organised - I am a massive preacher who is saying a tidy home is a tidy mind. I believe that you can have fun tidying as it strengthens your skills in order, organisation and calm.

I love working with children because it brings out the power of imagination, confidence and excitement. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a child comfortable and thriving in the environment they are in. I like to keep myself as busy as they would!

I have a basic DBS check from June 2024, and can also get an updated one if preferred. I have my own car, with a clean license, am covid-19 vaccinated and a non smoker. I am first aid trained and have a certificate if you would want to see it. A first aid kit is always kept in my car too.

My Availability

I will be available Thursday and Fridays, for after school pick ups/babysitting, working into the evenings.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)

I charge £14 an hour.
