My Requirements

My eldest has some SEN challenges (suspected adhd, mild autism) and has struggled with school. From September she will be attending alternative provisions but I need a nanny for the afternoons predominantly. Open to either experience of SEN or just good common sense that can handle a child who is smart, fun, lively but is also more reactive & needs someone who can be compassionate and empathetic but also confident on managing challenging behaviours. You would need to collect from alternative provision address and can either go home to our house, out or sometimes she has to go to therapy. Most importantly is that she has fun with you and builds up the trust & relationship (owning a dog would be a massively bonus!). Currently her hours are split between two Nannie’s and that works well but one is leaving to Australia ?. Most likely hours would be Mondays 2.30-5.30pm, Friday 12.30-5.30pm regularly but for example week of 18th of November I’d need Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday afternoon and Wednesday 8.30-3pm if possible so there’s always a chance of more hours. Usually we draft a schedule about 2 months out with both nanny’s stating their preference for hours and work it from there!
