I'm Amie, a highly experienced and qualified childcare practitioner and mummy to 3 of my own Little Sunshines.
I provide high quality childcare for children of all ages in and around the villages of Heighington and Washingborough, Lincoln. My home is a nurturing and enriching environment where your child can explore and play safely, indoors and out.
Our village offers endless opportunities for adventures with plenty of open spaces, a stream and animals right on our doorstep! I believe children learn and thrive through first-hand experiences and so we also take regular trips out to farms, play areas and woodlands.
My Experience
I have 17 years of experience in caring for children throughout EYFS and KS1 as a Nursery Nurse, Key Person and Teaching Assistant. I have also worked in Sure Start Children's Centers supporting families and very young children.
I have lots of experience in caring for babies younger children. My own children are aged from 1 year to 7 years.
My Qualifications
-Level 3 CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education
-Foundation Degree in Educational Studies
-BA Hons degree in Pro Studies in Education
-An Introduction to Safeguarding Children
-Pediatric First Aid
-Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene
My Availability
I offer breakfast and after school provision as well as full or half days between the hours of 7.30am and 5pm Mon to Thurs. Extended hours may be considered. 15 and 30 hour funded spaces available.
