About Me
I am currently looking after my grandson for one day a week whilst running a day nursery the rest if the week. I am looking for a 3 or 4 day a week position where I can continue to use my early years knowledge and skill but still be available for my grandson. I love sharing books, messy play, crafts, nature and finding creative ways to help children learn through play. Driver and car owner.

My Experience
I have had a varied career spanning 40 years! I have worked with children from newborn - as a maternity nurse - right up to teenagers - as a family worker. Currently working as manager of a day nursery but have over 15 years experience as a nanny/maternity nurse and 10 years as a childminder before this while my children were small. I have been an assessor of candidates completing NVQ in Childcare and Education and worked for the Pre-school Learning Alliance (now Early Years Alliance) as an outreach worker and an assessor of their quality assurance accreditation scheme, visiting settings to check standards. Qualified early years SENDCo with lots of SEN experience, particularly ADHD and ASD.
My Qualifications
NNEB, Diploma in Post Qualifying Studies and Diploma of Higher Education in Community Education with Linguistics. DBS check and on update service. Current paediatric first aid certificate. EYSENDCO. Willing to register with Ofsted.
My Availability
Three months notice needed for week day positions Evenings and weekends would be negotiable.
