I am currently a passionate Additional Support Needs Assistant (ASNA) working in a high school.
I love my job helping the children and young people both in mainstream and in ASN groups. I believe in breaking down barriers for all children in ways, agreed with the individual, that work personally for them.
Connecting with the child is so important to me, so I put effort into forming a bond with each child by tapping into their interests.I also support children and young people with their school work and in run up to exams.
My Experience
I have experience working with children with additional support needs, putting care plans in place and making sure the child is progressing comfortably and feeling safe and happy while doing so.

-Decider Skills
The Decider is a group of skills to improve distress tolerance, emotional regulation, mindfulness and interpersonal effectiveness. They are taught through role play and funny props while focussing on having fun!
