About Me

Hi, I am 31 years old, and would describe myself as attentive and patient. I’m open to supporting children and their families as I currently work with children with disabilities and previously worked in care providing roles.

I have sporadic experience babysitting over the years and look to my training experience to also guide me towards the needs and care of children.

I am open to helping children with activities whether it is learning or fun activities, as long as it has been approved by their parent or carer. I am passionate about helping children and encouraging their development what ever level it may be.

My Experience

I worked and trained in the NHS as a healthcare assistant and Ophthalmic Technician for 5+years on a ward. Supporting both children and adults from different backgrounds and abilities.
During this time I worked and trained around Safety Awareness, Health and Safety, confidentiality of patients, Safeguarding Children.

I now work as a qualified children with disabilities social worker.

I continue to expand my knowledge around care and safety for children of different ages and abilities and will update my profile with any additional skills I gain.

My Qualifications

MA Social Work (2021)

BA Honours in Psychology and Criminology (2013)

I am currently a social worker working with children with disabilities from ages 0 - 16.

Full Enhanced DBS on the updated service.

My Availability

I would like to take on the occasional babysitting job, whether this is a one off booking or fixed dates.

I am mostly available on weekends but the odd weekday evening may be possible. Please feel free to message me to discuss.

I am based in Kent, so would be open to working in the surrounding areas such as, Gravesend, Greenhithe, Crayford, Bexley etc.
I can also cater to South Ockendon and Grays.

My Fees

Babysitting from £12.00 per hour

Fixed day rates are available and negotiable

Children 3years and over only.

1 child = £12p/h (Min 3 hrs), £18p/h on New Years Eve & New Years Day

Multiple children (max 2) = £16 p/h (min 4 hrs), £22 on New Years Eve & New Years Day

Multiple children (max 3) = £22 p/h (min 4 hrs)
