About Me
My husband, Morgan, and I live with our three children in Whitchurch. The children are 6 years, 3 years, and 13 months. We both work part time in order to spend more time with the children. As a family we enjoy being outdoors and are passionate about the environment. We aim to practice gentle parenting and encourage our children to be kind and curious.
My Requirements
Essential Requirements
We would like someone to help our family with childcare one full day per week (approx 7:30 - 18:00) +/- another half day or shorter day. Ideally, the long day would be a Thursday or Tuesday , but we have some flexibility with this. During term time, this would also include drop offs & picks ups to school/ nursery school. We are looking for someone to start working with us as soon as possible.
We would like someone to care for our children in the home & also to take them on local outings, e.g. to the library or park. We would also like some help with household tasks, including cleaning and preparing healthy meals.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, enthusiastic and patient.
Desirable Requirements (not essential)
- Previous experience working with children who are neurodivergent
- Accept funding from government tax free childcare scheme
- Some flexibility in hours - we may require additional daytime/ evening hours depending on our working schedules
- Language skills - we use BSL baby sign and the children attend Welsh school so support with these would be a bonus
A car/ driving licence is not necessary as we are close to the children's school, all local amenities and good public transport links.
