Hello! I’m Viktorija, a caring, loving and patient babysitter with 7+ years experience in childcare who provides a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children. I am passionate about children’s development, therefore I take initiative to plan fun and creative activities that help children with their development of language and numeracy skills. I like to maintain great relationships with both children and parents, supporting you with the up keeping of your child’s/children daily routines. I also enjoy being active and like to spend fun time outside with children going to different local places; parks, farms, soft play, garden centres, playgroups, the library etc.
My Experience
I currently work part time in nursery with children aged from 6 months to 5 years. Supporting the young ones with their learning and development, following their daily routines, encouraging independence by allowing them to feed themselves, put on their own shoes etc. For the babies; preparing their formula milk, changing nappies, cleaning and changing them, putting them down for a nap. Creating creative messy play for all ages.
I have done babysitting in private family homes for many years now, providing child care during the day to looking after children over night. I’ve experienced working with 0-14 year olds , I am confident providing care for children of all ages.
While babysitting in the family homes, I made sure I’d prepare engaging activities, read books with the children, do activity books, sing nursery rhymes, help with homework, prepare snacks and meals and feed the children, go out for outside activities such as going down to the park, the farm, children’s centre, plan different day activities... etc. Bathing and preparing bottles. Following the children’s bed time/ sleep routines.
For the past 3 years, I have also been a teacher at Sunday school, engaging with children from the ages of 7-14. Creating study plans and activities for inside the setting and outside.
