I’m a trainee teacher, who loves the energy of being around kids! I really believe in the idea of creating a gentle environment for children. An open honest relationship, where they don’t feel afraid to talk is the best way to keep the children safe.
I’m training to be a secondary art teacher and will be qualified in July, so I am very creative and love anything to do with crafts or creating and I greatly encourage anything creative!
I think the best thing about kids is their imagination and their ability to just have fun! I will always encourage a bit of fun.
My Experience
I do an afterschool pick up for a 5 yr old, and have also babysat for a neighbour for about 6 months during the day whilst they were at work, a child aged 3 years old.
At work I’m on placement in a secondary school so have daily interaction with children.
I volunteered with children for 6 months with an organisation where we used to create fun activities for children ages 5-12
My Qualifications
Degree educated from Southampton university , all GCSE’s A*-C completed at secondary school also
Lvl 2 Certificate in Understanding Distressed Behaviour in Children
Currently completing QTS and PGCE teacher training
