About Me
Hi! I’m a mum of 2, a 6 year old and a 2 year old. I’m looking for school holiday and an overnight weekend babysitter (as needed) in the Newington Green/Highbury/Holloway Road area.
Unfortunately we don’t have many family members that can help with the children on the weekends and school holidays, meaning that us parents don’t get much time to spend together outside of the house and with upcoming important events, it leaves us unable to celebrate together and also summer holidays are stressful with childcare.
We’re looking for a registered, DBS checked childminder/babysitter that can provide our children with a safe and relaxed environment with a trustworthy person that genuinely enjoys children. This wouldn’t be on a routine basis, it would be 1 week out of Christmas and Easter holidays and 2 weeks in summer holidays and we’d like to have someone we trust to ask every 1-2 months for 1 weekend in the month as an overnight babysitter. We’re very happy for other children to be in the home.

My Requirements
My children are very respectful and loving children who are full of humour and life! My daughter (6) is very protective of her brother (2) and while they argue 24/7 it’s full of love. My daughter is fashion, Disney film and make up mad! While my son is obsessed with cars and singing.
We’re a fairly relaxed family, we let them eat sweets and watch their tablets (when it’s time) but also teach respect and boundaries. Were very protective of our children so would need the chosen sitter to be DBS checked and registered, we would prefer someone that is an active childminder/nanny or someone with experience but also registered, you can never be too careful unfortunately. We’re looking for a school holiday babysitter that we can book in for 1-2 weeks every school holiday and every 1-2 months for a weekend overnight just so that us parents can enjoy a night together with reliable and trustworthy sitter as a contact. We would prefer the children to stay at your home (would be a bonus if you had children to play with too ?) but we would consider you staying at ours and can arrange a taxi to take you home when we get home that night.
