Hello! My name is Jodie and I am 21 years old and live in york, currently studying a health professionals diploma.
I am caring, reliable and energetic which is seen through my friendly demeanour. My hobbies consist of reading, and being in the outdoors. I am passionate about working with children, giving them the best possible care and have experience with children aged 1-6 years.

My Experience
I have gained invaluable skills whilst working with a Montessori Nursery for the best of 2 years during my placement year at York college. These skills range from patience, teamwork, great communication skills, creativity, imagination and having a sense of fun. I've had past experience with forest schools too which can improve children’s development.
I have experience with babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers and have worked within reception too and helped out in local primary school.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 Childcare and Education qualification with a DBS check.
I also participated in NCS in 2019 which helped me gain team work skills, independence and being a fantastic listener.
I have a GCSE grade 7 child development.
My Availability
I am flexible around my studies and am happy to help families whenever they need me.
I am happy to babysit on evenings and help out being a nanny part time, which also includes weekends.
