About Me
Hi, my name is Emma, and I’ve been an Ofsted-registered childminder since August 2022. I'm based in West Bromwich and run my setting under the name Little Palms Childminding. I have a 7 year-old son who attends school and loves helping out and playing with the little ones when he's at home.
I aim to provide high-quality childcare in a warm, home-from-home environment where children feel safe, cared for, and able to have fun. I live in a ground-floor flat, and while I don’t have a private garden, we regularly make the most of the nearby green spaces for outdoor play and fresh air. The children also enjoy visits to local farms, parks, libraries, and more.
My living room is set up as our main play space and is filled with a variety of age-appropriate toys, books, and resources to support learning and development through play.

My Experience
I hold a BA (Hons) degree in Early Childhood and have over 8 years of experience working in nursery settings, which has given me a strong foundation in supporting children’s development across all areas of learning. I now apply this knowledge in my childminding practice to create a nurturing and stimulating environment aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

I am available Monday to Thursday from 7:30am to 5:30pm, with spaces currently available.
I also offer care during school holidays, providing a flexible option for working parents throughout the year.

My little one has just recently started going to Emma after finding her at my other children’s school and it has worked out brilliant!
Emma’s setting is just what we was looking for, she has daily activities planned out each day, a range of toys that is suited for all ages and is always planned to help around my little one’s learning and development and he is thriving so much after only a short time he has been attending.
With me going back to work and my little one being so young I really wanted somewhere where he could spend time in a more homely environment and been able to have that one to one bond and this is exactly what Emma’s setting has done for us.
My little one loves attending, every drop of he is full of smiles when he sees Emma & every pick up is the same which has been so reassuring knowing he is comfortable, happy and safe with Emma.
Emma also provides updates throughout the day of how his day is going and all the fun things they have done together and this has been such a peace of mind for me.
Nothing is too much to ask from Emma, she works around your child and their needs.
She is kind, helpful and supportive! She truly loves what she does.

Emma has been looking after my daughter since February this year after finding her via childcare.co.uk and has been amazing! I really wanted a home from home experience, especially whilst she's still so young, and Emma's setting is exactly that. She always has lots of fun activities planned to support her learning and development.
I get a lovely detailed update everyday with photos from the day and key information about my little one which is really helpful.
Emma has been nothing but helpful, kind, accommodating and supportive in the few months we've known her. She's really organised with detailed paperwork and policies.
My daughter always comes home with lots of lovely pictures and paintings and memories for special occasions such as Mother's Day, Easter etc and she's always excited to see Emma in the mornings. She's coming along leaps and bounds and I have no doubt that Emma plays a huge part in her development.
Finding childcare and going back to work has been a really daunting experience but Emma has made it so much easier, thank you for looking after our little lady so well!
