About Me

Hello, my name is Monica. I am an ofsted registered childminder based in Billingshurst. I am married with 2 lovely daughters whose ages are 5 and 8 respectively. My setting provides an enabling environment that is safe, welcoming and fun for children where they can feel very safe, happy and comfortable doing what they love and being themselves. I have a deep passion for early child development and education especially as they explore the early years learning framework (EYLF) within my setting. I also encourage child led learning in my home due to it helps them to think critically and also improve their social skill too. Your child will grow and flourish in a warm homely environment, where the children become part of the family and are valued, respected and encouraged in every child’s unique learning style.

My home is pet and smoke free with a good planned space garden where we often carryout our outside activities when the weather permits. We also visit local parks, shops, library, and group activities etc, so that they can enjoy themselves more and have new experiences too. I offer before and after school care. I provide drop off and pick up from nurseries and Billingshurst primary school too. I also provide snacks, drinks, fresh fruits and healthy home cooked meal prepared by myself . I offer variety of plays in my home such as board games, soft plays, messy play, rhyme games, play in the parks, free play, cooking, dressing up and role play, nature play, drawing and painting play, arts and crafts, etc.
