Exceptional Childminder

Melissa has been an absolute gem! As a first-time mom, I was nervous about leaving my daughter with anyone. Meeting Melissa has been the best decision ever. My daughter has thrived in her care. She provides a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment that makes my daughter feel safe and loved. We started 4 months ago, and I have only positive things to say. My daughter is very vocal about things she likes and doesn’t like. She’s 23 months old, and I can tell she’s always happy to be in her care. Her ability to create a daily routine that is both fun and educational is impressive, and she always keeps me informed about my child's daily activities, meals, and milestones. She’s always willing to accommodate our needs. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found Melissa and highly recommend her to any family seeking a trustworthy, experienced, and caring childminder.

Best feeling

I was lucky enough to find Melissa in this website, she lovely and my baby been with her since the last 4 months he’s been enjoying himself she always keep me updated with him and he’s been doing the first meeting was great I’m nervous first mum who’s been having a lot anxiety starting a new job .
It’s been great meeting her and her little set up we had meeting and everything went well my work kept changing my schedule!! But Melissa was easy to talk to and accommodating with the changes that been happening he start with one day and now it’s been increased.
She even ask if baby could eat with kids meal rather than me bring meals and I just told her about he’s need and she been very helpful with her having busy schedule and set hours when I was struggling with work time she offered to take him early while she doing school runs which helped me immensely.

Best of the best

Melissa is my 14 month olds childminder, she found me and honestly it was like fate. She is absolutely amazing with my daughter and the way they have bonded, as soon as my daughter sees her she throws her arms wide open and completely forgets about me at the door 😅 she's come along so much in her speech, movement and personality. She was getting so bored whilst being stuck in the house whilst I worked from home and Melissa was a godsend.

Faultless Experience

Melissa has been a dream of a childminder from day 1, I was incredibly worried about choosing the right childminder to care for my son (being a first-time mum going back to work full-time). Melissa has been nothing but supportive, reassuring and encouraging; she learned about my sons likes and dislikes so quickly and made sure he (and we as parents) felt comfortable and confident in her abilities of looking after our little one. I would 100% recommend her to other parents looking for a trustworthy and kind-hearted childminder. Thanks Melissa!

Excellent Child care provider

We couldn't be happier with the wonderful care our child receives from Melissa. She is incredibly attentive, kind, and professional. Her home is always clean, safe, and filled with a variety of toys and educational materials. Our child looks forward to going there every day, which speaks volumes about the positive and fun environment she provides. Amazing flexible local experienced childminder

Melissa is an amazing childminder. I have been with her for two years with two of my younger children and her services are exceptional! There is a negative review on here which is just not justified!!!! Both of my children love going to Melissa’s! She is structured, passionate, experienced and definitely provides my young children with a safe and happy learning environment! I love having a childminder who is so brilliant and considerate to each of my child’s individual needs! Melissa goes above and beyond and most importantly my children love being in the care of Melissa. They have fulfilled days and are always happy when I pick them up. A wonderful childminder who I really appreciate and who I know provides my children with everything they need and more!

absolute shambles

I reached out or she reach out on here and via personal message to organise childcare. I arranged a meet first of all which got cancelled fair enough she had an emergency not a problem. I’ve then chased to set another meeting bearing in mind I’m having to take time off work to do this and get one arranged. I think go through the times and the periods - one she takes forever to get back to you so your left in limbo, 2nd nowhere does it say on your profile you don’t take term time only because if it did I wouldn’t have even entertained it so your advertising is inaccurate. She’s asked all around funding and then last min something else. Absolute time waster god knows what actually sending my child would involve. People have priorities they need to meet don’t waste peoples time

This isn't accurate or fair. When we first spoke, you did not mention you only needed term time care or that another childminder had already used your funding code, meaning I would have to work for 3 months without any wages. I have been slow replying whilst I've waited for the funding team to get back to me, it has been me calling around trying my best to sort it. I'm really sorry you feel like I have waisted your time and that you've had to take time of work to send WhatsApp messages, this was never my intentions.


This is no way a reflection of the care of the children in my setting, and think it's unfair to put this review here when you haven't seen my setting or received any care. The rude text would have been enough.
