Hello!
We’re a warm, adventurous family looking for a caring, emotionally mature, and experienced nanny, babysitter, or mother’s help to support us as I return to work. We have a 1-year-old daughter, Maya, and a 3-year-old son, Finn, along with our friendly and well-trained cockapoo, Bailey.
About Our Family & Home:
* We are based in Bishopston/Horfield, just a minute’s walk from Horfield Common and the Ardagh Centre, with the park, play areas, and a great local community.
* Our home is child-friendly with a garden full of homegrown veggies, a spacious kitchen, and a cozy living area full of games and toys.
* I have a portfolio career as a Business Consultant, Coach, Speaker, and Adventurer, and my partner Ash is a Tech Manager and Creative Consultant. We both work from home, so we’ll be around if needed.
* Between us, we’ve lived around the world (South America, Sweden, the Himalayas, Australia & New Zealand) and bring these experiences into our family life and culture.

My Requirements
About the Role:
We’re seeking someone to care for Maya in our home 2 days a week - ideally Wednesdays and Fridays - with additional ad-hoc babysitting and half-day weekend support. Ideally, you are comfortable with two young children and happy to engage with Finn when needed. Bonus points if you have previous experience with 3-year-olds and if you’re open to taking Bailey the dog for the occasional walk!

* Has a gentle, respectful approach and aligns with Steiner/Waldorf and Montessori philosophies
* Understands child psychology & development, setting clear, kind boundaries and practicing gentle discipline
* Loves inspiring curiosity and learning through engaging activities and creative play
* Is comfortable with dogs and enjoys having one around
* Shares our love for nature and adventure, encouraging outdoor play and exploration
