For the previous three years I was a teacher with a predominant focus in the early years. I have experience teaching and tutoring children age 4-11.
Some of my responsibilities included:
Developed a curriculum for early years.
Ensured that parents were fully informed and up to date with their child's progress whilst in my care.
Managed the timetable, food choices, learning, behaviour and pastoral care of 33 under 5's in my care.
Up to date awareness of keeping children safe.
Established routine and consistency for the children at school.
Organised activities that enhanced their social, emotional and physical being.
Planned and managed a nativity play involving over 50 children.
Taught children with a range of SEND (autism, global delay, ADHD, anxiety, EBSA) and worked alongside a range of professionals and guardians to develop specialised support.

Prior to and alongside my teaching experience, I have experience in babysitting/nannying for a range of ages. I worked as a holiday nanny for a family with 3 children ages 3-9 when I started.
During these positions I have
Establishing and maintaining a safe play environment.
Promoting social/cultural development through trips out and experiences such as visiting museums, cafes and play groups.
Help and support with homework whilst also able to provide tutoring using own knowledge of the National Curriculum.
Helped with laundry, cooking and light cleaning.
Making healthy food and helping children understand the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
Promote language development through specialised activities including storytelling and use of vocabulary.
Effectively communicate updates with parents depending on their preferred level of communication.
Sole charge of children from age 6 months to age 11.
Created a fun, caring and supportive environment for all children who are in my care.
Babysitting and proxy parenting over night.
Given flexibility to the families.
Sole charge of three children at the same time.
Worked during events such a birthdays, parties and weddings.

My Qualifications

I am fully DBS checked.
I have a BA degree in Primary Education with QTS.
I have a paediatric first aid certificate.

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (net)
