Hi I’m Ali, 33 years old, living in Hackney and available for all your babysitting needs. As an actor and arts practitioner I find young people’s playfulness endlessly inspiring and I love to get creative with them.
My Experience
I have experience caring for babies and children of all ages 6 months to 12 years old. Before moving to Totnes to start my Masters degree, I worked as a play support worker for the charity Kids and as a part-time nanny for a 10 month old. I have also worked as teaching assistant at Blossom House School working with children with learning and communication difficulties aged 4-18. I have been a nanny to a four year old and also volunteered with Hackney Pirates, helping 8-9 year olds with their literacy and creative projects.
My Qualifications
I don’t have formal childcare qualifications but lots of experience babysitting and childminding.
I have a diploma in Acting from the Oxford School of Drama and am currently completing a Masters in Ecological Design Thinking
My Availability
From Mid September 2024 I will be available for full/part time work. Until then I will be available for occasional babysitting.
