Hi, I'm Evie & I'm from Cornwall!

I've been a nanny for 4 lovely kids in North West London for the last 7 months, learning and supporting the rhythms of family life. Prior to this I've provided childcare for many years and have worked in schools and nurseries too.
I'm a rather arty & musical person and love to get kids involved in creative activities. I also really value getting children out in nature, after working in a wonderful forest school nursery, where I was an outdoor lead. Even as a nanny in the city now, I still find that I prefer to get the kids outdoors. We seem to spend most days in parks and playgrounds, exploring, having picnics and reading stories outside!
I have volunteered and later gone on to work at Woodlands Special School in Plymouth. Gaining vital experience with some wonderful children with SEN and learning how to appropriately care and educate in this setting (using their hoists and following their various routines).
As well as several years of experience working in nurseries, schools & childminding, I have my QA Level 3 Pediatric First Aid, Level 2 Food Hygiene & also a BAHons in Illustration, if that's any use!
I love dogs + cats, so I'm always happy to work for families with 4 legged friends!
Preferably looking for a full-time role with toddlers.

My Experience
From early 2021-mid 2022 I worked in Nurseries in Truro & Falmouth, both day nurseries and one within a primary school (Tregolls School).
I consistently provided after school and evening babysitting throughout my later teenage years, alongside volunteer work once a week at Woodlands Special School in Plymouth. I have gone on to work short term at the school more recently, gaining vital experience with some wonderful children with SEN and learning how to appropriately care and educate in this setting (using their hoists and following their care routines).
I seem to have been minding children and helping out in classrooms for nearly as long as I can remember. I think perhaps its a result of being brought up by teachers!
