About Me
My name is Katia, I am a registered childminder with Ofsted based in woolwich dockyards south east London. I have one lovely child of age 12 years old.
I do not have any pets, I also do not smoke so my home is smoke free.
I make the decision to start up my own business after my son’s turned 11 and I have working as a childminder assistant I have researched all my aspects of child care including the EYFS and qualified in level 3
I have also gained my first aid certificate in paediatric first aid along side an additional course in safeguarding. ( safeguarding of children)
My true passion is child development and I have enrolled in extra course to gain a better understanding of this subject.
I am going to run my business from my family’s home, there is a designated play room with a lot of resources where the children in my care will do there activities also will be visiting a local libraries and playground.
The environmental I provide will be very much focused on developing the children in line with the EYFS, all schools and Ofsted-registered early years providers must follow the EYFS, including childminder, preschool nurseries and school reception classes. We do visit local parks, libraries, fun parks and forest schools (fee might be required for this service).
My Experience
Childminder assistant working with children from age 1 to 11 year.
I have study health and social care/ childcare. Also i am a mother of one child too I have gain lots of practical experience in meeting his daily needs both with his educational needs ranging from assisting him to completing his homework and studying. It has taught me a lot about teaching and patience that is required to ensure the target is achieved.
I do speak Portuguese and a bit of Spanish.

My Availability
As a key worker I am very much flexible with my availability just get in touch for us to discuss
I am available all year round but notice will be given for my four weeks annual holiday
My hours are usually between 7am to 6pm.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
Childminder from £7.00 per hour
Fee starts from 7.00 per hour depends on child’s age and need.
Half day £35 (hours between 1 to 6)
Full day 7am to 6 pm £55 depends on child’s age and need.
Bank holiday to be discussed at meeting.
