About Me
A little about me and my family
My name is Julie and I have been working in childcare for the past 20 + years. I started my training as a Nursery Nurse and went on to become a private nanny for many years until in 2000 I decided to set up a business of my own as a childminder.
My husband and I have 4 grown up children, 3 girls and a boy.
We have 2 very friendly small dogs who are fantastic with children. They often come to visit us up in the cabin where we spend our days indoors and out.
We live in the Warners end area of Hemel Hempstead and are near local parks, schools, and shops. I am well known around the local areas and with my local preschool staff.
We have a purpose built cabin for minded children to explore, play and become independent little people.
We have a toilet / changing area, garden and have all relevant age appropriate materials to hand to provide a stimulating and interesting, child friendly environment. We provide fun stimulating activities each day and these will follow the child's interests.
We are a free flow setting so outdoor play is always available.
I am flexible and work well alongside parents and their individual needs.

Relevant First aid training (certificate renewable every 3 years)

Over 20 years experience in working with children and raising my own 4 who are now happy and grown into fantastic young adults.
