About Me
Hello! My name is Claire and I am a mum of 2 children aged 8 & 9. I have been an Ofsted registered childminder since October 2021 having been a Primary school teacher for the previous 18 years.
My favourite part of both teaching and childminding was spending time with the children and setting up play invitations for them to enjoy based on their interests. I have a bright and engaging playroom and a large, secure garden where we spend our time when we are at home.
I like to be organised so we will have a full set of activities and playgroups planned throughout the week as well as calm and quiet times at home. I have a Kew Gardens pass and love taking the children out on various outings throughout the year.
My Experience
I was a primary school teacher for 18 years where I worked mostly in Hounslow borough schools. I have experience working with children across the primary school age range but most of my experience is in the Early years or Year 1 (teaching the 5-6 year olds).
Prior to my career in teaching I was a Nursery Nurse where I worked in a private day nursery in Richmond in both the baby room and also the toddler room.
