Hello, I'm Alena. I am a primary school teacher aiming to tutor 1:1 with children in primary school. I always aim to build good relationships alongside positivity to make sure that learning is interesting and so that there is a higher chance for success.
I would firstly assess understanding based off of the current year expectations and build a personalised plan from there to meet the needs of the child.
My Experience
5 years classroom teaching. Specialise in teaching mostly upper KS2 but have knowledge of KS1 as well.
I have worked as a 1:1 private tutor for a child with ASD in KS1 providing alternate provision for a year.
