Hi, my name is Jemma.
I am a qualified primary teacher with experience tutoring students from age 4-16.
My teaching style is fun and engaging aiming to make learning relevant and accessible to all learners. I like to involve students in their learning journey as I find it helps them to take ownership of their own learning and develop independence skills through their own interests and curiosities.
My Experience
I have 13 years experience as a primary school teacher. I have experience teaching/tutoring children with special educational needs, English as an additional language and low confidence.
I have an up to date knowledge of the primary curriculum from the early years through KS1 and KS2. I have experience supporting children through SATs.
Expert in early reading and phonics.

I have availability daytime and evenings, Monday-Wednesday however other days can be arranged upon request.
My availability allows for home schooled pupils to access my tutoring sessions.
