About Me
Hola!
I am a dedicated, enthusiastic, and passionate mum of a 12 years old boy.
Based on my own experience as a mother and educator, I believe that the foundations for future learning and wellbeing are laid in early childhood years, therefore I will be focusing on children feeling safe, respected and loved, so they can learn and flourish as emotionally well balanced and resilient human beings.
I offer a home from home approach in a bright, clean, and safe environment. We will be regularly visiting the local library, parks, play groups, farms, and other different places. We will be doing many fun activities, such as art and crafts, dancing, baking, gardening, sensory activities, and messy play with different materials.
Following the EYFS areas of learning and development, there will be a variety of child-led and adult-led fun and engaging activities. I will always promote their passion for learning through play and plenty of laughter.
High-quality interactions and play in an environment that is not overstimulating or overwhelming and is inclusive and friendly.

My Experience
After becoming a mum, I changed my career in a scientific field and for the last 11 years, I have worked in the childcare and education sector, such as Primary schools, Nurseries, Spanish language tutor and an LSA in a residential school. Working in those settings, I regularly have a wide variety of training and CPD courses to enhance and provide more effective support and care for the children. I also have an NVQ Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.

My son has been with Tania since just over a year old. He did have some health issues early on and she has been both attentive and caring towards his needs. She made his transition extremely easy and he loves going each morning - even asking to go when he wakes some weekends.
Every day she has a plethora of carefully thought out and chosen activities for the children to get stuck in to, following both their interests and their individual developmental needs. She tries to ensure that the children go outside and experience the world; baby groups, the zoo and the local market stall to buy fruit to name just a few.
She knows exactly where each child is in their learning journey and how best to support them moving through each stage of development. We have found her to be knowledgable and passionate about early learning and this is evident in all communications, photos and in our own sons development.
My son has thrived since being in her care from his speech right down to his general social interactions. She keeps us updated each day with a range of pictures and comments which he loves to look at and talk about when he gets home.
We are so glad that we found Tania and her wonderful family to care for our son when we are unable to during day to day life - a real home from home.

My son has been with Tania since he turned 1. I was anxious at the beginning as he is a real mummy’s boy who had always been with me before, but he settled in very well. Tania is very kind, caring and passionate. I really admire her patience and energy. I love to see the bond that my little one has with her and her family; Tania really provides a home from home.
These past six months, we could really see how my son’s confidence and social skills have developed in Tania’s care. He has lots of fun with Tania and the other kids; in the mornings they usually go out to parks, playgroups or Paradise park, whilst in the afternoon they are learning through play at home. Tania always sends us lots of photos and updates about what they’ve been up to, what he ate & how much he slept.
We chose Tania because we felt that our values align. It’s an added bonus that there are only a couple of children present at a time which means that all children can get lots of attention and bonding time. We feel we found a hidden gem.
