Hello there,
My name is Roxana. I am a very kind, calmand patient student. Having grown up in a working class family, I have had the responsibility of looking after my litter sister since I was 11 years old. I am a respectful and loving individual and I have grown to enjoy managing such responsibilities at a young age. I love being able to work with children and to constantly encourage and support them to perform to the best of their abilities.
I am an extraordinarily effective and talented individual with considerable academic, administrative and professional experience. I am a responsible and enthusiastic individual with strong communication skills who is self-motivated. I am passionate about engaging children in innovative and stimulating activities that promote their development while creating a safe and supportive environment. With great time management and organisational skills, I can keep daily routines running smoothly while balancing structure and fun.
I take pride and priority in all aspects of your child’s care- with safety and providing a comfortable environment being my main concern.
My Experience
With over 7 years of experience I haven always taken the role of being the eldest child very seriously. Being a second mother to my sister had led me to providing her with the best care possible. From changing nappies,feeding her, putting her to sleep overnight and helping her complete homework, I believe I have done the best in providing her with the best and safest upbringing. Being her carer has enabled me to see her flourish into a bright little girl who enjoys the outdoors as well as a confident individual. I have managed to help raise her into the best possible individual - who now enjoys singing in the choir and attending singing lessons after school.
Mentoring younger students has essentially equipped me with valuable transferable skills. Through mentoring, I’ve learned how to engage with children, provide guidance, and create a supportive and encouraging environment. I’m skilled at building trust, adapting to different personalities and needs and fostering positive interactions. This experience has also strengthened my patience, problem-solving abilities and ability to handle challenges calmly and effectively. Dealing with challenges and different types of students has made me more confident and motivated to help everyone succeed. Mentoring has also taught me how to be a positive role model, communicate clearly and create meaningful activities that keep children engaged, making me well-prepared to provide attentive, responsible and nurturing care.
Moreover, my volunteering experience has taught me a lot of important skills including responsibility, patience, and adaptability. Working with children and leading groups has strengthened my ability to communicate effectively, solve problems, and create a fun, safe and engaging environment. I’m confident in handling tasks, ensuring children's well-being whilst also managing unexpected situations with ease. My experience has also helped me develop strong multitasking and organizational skills, making me well-prepared to provide attentive and reliable care.
My Qualifications
Top grade student studying BTEC business. Current grades are DDD - Equivalent to AAA (A-levels)
Member of the school council
Received many awards- including the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award
My Availability
I am available every day of the week. am mostly available to do after school pick ups. I am available anytime on Saturday after 2pm. I am available any time on Sunday.
