My Summary

My Experience

From babysitting as a teenager, working in schools both in the classroom, nursery and school offices.
My more recent work engagements has included Medical Secretary for 8yrs which involved Paediatrics.
I have looked after severely autistic, cerebral palsy and worked on a 1:1 SEN basis in the classroom.
I am now semi-retired from office duties but keep my involvement and keenness with children through my grandchildren. I have taken care of other children as and when required and would like to share my knowledge and patience in helping other families with their childcare needs.
I keep a tight ship, but allow children to learn through play and experience. I encourage a healthy diet with choice. Acknowledging that not all children are the same.
Children of different ages in a family are not an issue, as you can imagine bringing up five children you learn to cater for age differences and to keep everyone happy ensuring time schedules are also adhered to.

My Qualifications

Apart from Life experience bringing up five successful children and grandparent to five young grandchildren I also have Childcare Level 2 and CACHE Leve 3 Aware in Support Teaching and Learning which includes Safe guarding, Understanding how children and young people develop, Support Health and safety and schools and colleges as organisations.

My Availability

Primarily I am available Monday - Friday, but some evenings, weekends and overnights are available
with short notice availability

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
• Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)

£13.00/hr daytime Mon - Fri
£14/hr 18:00 - 22:00
£18/hr 22:00 - 6:00
