About Me
I am a warm and passionate Childminder in Morden. I live with my husband and 2 children aged 6 and 2 in a lovely spacious house with a big garden. I have a dedicated playroom with Montessori inspired educational toys. I also have an indoor climbing gym. I provide a home from home nurturing environment for children so they feel safe and confident to learn from the various developmental and educational activities I specifically plan for them. Furthermore, being in a smaller setting allows me to focus and give 1-1 attention to all the children I care for. I am therefore able to provide a tailored and well adapted environment for the emotional, physical and educational growth for each child.
Growing up in Germany, I went to a Forest School Kindergarten myself as a child, which has had its lasting positive effects on me in my adulthood. Thus I have formally trained in forest education, and take the children weekly to parks to carry out our forest school activities. At our setting we love reading books and love singing! So have a wonderful story and rhyme time session everyday. We carry out various other activities throughout the week related to the EYFS curriculum and adapt it according to the children’s interests and needs as they grow.
I live at a 6 minute walk from Morden underground station and have many bus links near me: 93, 163, 293, 413, 164 and many more near the station.
I provide homemade fresh food which includes a morning snack, lunch and dinner. With a background of being a dietitian, I prioritise good nutrition for the children I care for.
I also provide wraparound care for Poplar Primary school. I provide breakfast options including a cooked breakfast at an extra charge. Afterschool I provide homemade dinners and offer help with homework also.
My Experience
I have looked after children over a span of 14 years. I was also a youth leader for 1 year at my local community where I was a buddy and mentor for children, and organised various activities for 15-20 children on a regular basis followed by a monthly report. I have experience in tutoring in English and Biology.
I have also worked as a Dietitian in Gastroenterology and Paediatrics department in the hospital, with 4 years Clinical experience, until I had my own children. I have been passionate to work with children ever since, thus pursued a career in Childcare, as I believe well nurtured children will form a Happy and Peaceful society for the future.

Our 15month old daughter has been with Saba 4 days a week for a few months now and she loves it. Every morning she asks to go to 'Baba' and stands by the door until its time to go. She has become so much more confident, outgoing and chatty since attending Woodland Bunnies.
The children spend loads of time outdoors as well as doing structured activities such as circle time or creative activities.
The house is wonderfully set up for childcare with a large garden, nap room and a lovely playroom.
We get daily updates with pictures and videos as well as crafts and paintings sent home regularly.
Saba is kind and caring, she really provides a 'home from home' for our little girl.

My daughter loves going to Saba's setting! She settled in very quickly and she got more adventurous and talkative.
Saba does a lot of activities, baking, painting, play dough, exploring the forest and park, going to library, free play,.. very diverse and interactive!
We couldn't be happier! And our daughter as well!
Saba also gives a thorough update every day, with photos included.

Our daughter has been attending Saba’s setting for the last 2 months and we were pleasantly surprised how quickly she settled in. After the Christmas holidays, our daughter walked into Saba’s house as if she owns it. She loves being there and asks every weekend to go to Saba’s.
Saba is kind and caring, she communicates well with us the parents and does amazing things with the children. We love it that our daughter spends most mornings outside in the fresh air, tries new foods, joins in educational activities and gets to socialise with other children.
We are very happy to have found Saba and cannot recommend her highly enough!

This was the first time My 4yr old daughter had to go to a childminder and I'm glad I picked Saba as she made my daughter and me feel at ease. I would highly recommend Saba as she not only has a wide variety of indoor activities for the children, she also takes them for nature walks in the morning, trips to the library and the local parks. I would get daily updates about where they've been, what they've done and what they've eaten along with photos of her throughout the day. My daughter absolutely loved going there and had so much fun, we would definitely go again.
