My Summary

My Experience

I have worked with children with autism and ADHD but have previously worked as a health care assistant with young adults with learning difficulties and other complex needs. I started babysitting when I was 15 years old and I looked after 3 families. Two of the families had children with autism and ADHD one boy aged 5 and the other 7 and the 3rd family had a 4 year old and a 1 year old. My tasks would often involve doing stimulating tasks with the children like baking, reading and arts and crafts, I would often cook and help with home work. I come from a large family with my youngest brother being 11 years younger so I’ve always been around children. My mum was a registered childminder through my high school years so I would help her with the children this involved making snacks, playing with the children and reading. In high school I studied childcare at GCSE and came out with a B so although I have hands on practice experience I also do have theory. I did my work experience in a primary school and other work placement in a high school. Coming from a big family means I have always been around Children so I have experience with everything from changing nappies, bottle feeding, meal prep and meal times to genuine growth and development aswell as experience with being creative and playing with children and keeping them stimulated.

My Availability

Before school, during the day and Afterschool, with my weekends free and evening and nights

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour

Wage/pocket money Can be discussed and agree per week or month with provided accommodation and food but open to paying for my own food. Happy to offer babysitting per hour outside of our contracted hour as and when agreed.
