My Summary

My Experience

I have tutored younger students and students of my level from a young age due to being placed in gifted and talented groups since moving back to England from Canada. In sixth form, I was also placed to help 11 and 12 year olds with homework and any classwork they were struggling with. While studying Medical Physiology in Leicester, I worked for Leicester College, tutoring students retaking GCSE maths which I thoroughly enjoyed despite it coming to an end when the lockdown started. I also was an au pair for a short time during the summer, where I helped a child studying for the 11+ as well as taking care of her younger brother.

My Qualifications

I have an enhanced DBS check and all my vaccinations for COVID. I obtained 5A*s 4As, and a B at GCSE, Bs in Chemistry and Biology A Level, with one mark off an A* for Maths A Level. I have also obtained a 2.1 in Medical Physiology BSc, and have completed NHS-mandated safeguarding and safety training courses.

My Availability

I am very flexible and require a role that can allow some flexibility also as I am a medical student at the University of Sheffield. I am available at short notice as the only commitments I have are university sessions. For tutoring my availability will be increased if I am doing them virtually for obvious reasons.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.20 per hour

I would prefer to be paid weekly, but am flexible to bi-weekly or monthly pay. My fees will vary depending on how far I am travelling, how short/long the shift is and how much I am expected to cover babysitting or tutor-wise. On most cases however, the fees will remain the same!
