About Me
We are a relaxed family of four looking for an organised, caring, and fun mother's help/nanny-housekeeper to support us from January. The children will be 5 years and 5 months when you start.
As a family we are caring and fun. We enjoy walking our dogs, spending time outdoors, cooking and reading. We would love someone to become a part of the family on a long term basis.
My Requirements
Typical duties would include: laundry, tidying, cooking food, shopping, playing with the children, and taking the baby out for a nap. The position will be a mix of shared care and sole charge as I'm on maternity leave and the position will evolve with time depending on my work.
We are looking for someone who shares our gentle parenting/conscious parenting philosophy. I am a psychologist and it is vital that the candidate views children’s behaviour as a means of communication and are therefore appropriately empathic, caring and thoughtful as well as comfortable maintaining boundaries. We do not utilise any form of sleep training/sticker charts/time outs etc. The ideal person will have be organised, caring, empathic, and have a good sense of humour.
Hours and days could be flexible for the right candidate but we are looking for 20-30 hours over a minimum of 3 days.
