About Me
I started Childminding when I had my son, Charlie. I was only planning on childminding until he started school, but I soon realised how much I loved it. Caring for children has become a massive part of my life and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.
As a mother myself, I deeply empathize with the needs of both children and parents. I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and family-oriented environment where children feel loved, secure, and valued. I believe in the importance of open communication and collaboration with parents, recognising them as vital partners in their child's journey.
I am committed to providing a safe and enriching space where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and intellectually. Through play-based learning, creative activities, and individualized attention, I foster curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love for learning.
Above all, I am driven by a genuine passion for caring for children and helping them reach their full potential. I take pride in my role as a trusted caregiver and role model, guiding children with patience, compassion, and respect.
My Experience
We have been in business for more than 14 years, and have obtained a Good OFSTED rating in all areas since I began.
My Qualifications
I hold a full clean driving licence and the vehicle is insured for business use.
Level 3 Diploma Home Based Childcare.
Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young Peoples Workforce
BA Hons Degree in Early Years

My typical working day is 8am - 5:30pm but I can sometimes accommodate an earlier or a later finish.

My daughter has attended here for almost two years and I cannot fault the service we receive. Laura and Mark provide excellent childcare and ensure they cater for each individual child's needs. They regularly go on trips and plan to develop my daughters early education.

I would recommend Laura and Mark to anyone needing childcare. My son has been with them for over a year now and they have built an extremely good relationship with one another. He settled straight away and he looks up to them both.
My son was being bullied at school and Laura dealt with the matter so well with leasing with both me and the school at the time. It is obvious that the children are respected and cared for very well and he comes home one very happy little boy.
I have had other childminders in the area prior to them but was never happy with the service that was provided, so unfortunately for them we won't be going anywhere which i'm sure all the other parents would agree with me on all of theaabove statements.
