Hello, I'm Jessica, a certified Primary School educator holding Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). With a solid seven years of experience in classroom teaching, I've worked across various year groups. I've also led small group sessions, tailoring my approach to suit each group's learning style, ensuring it's both interactive and captivating. I firmly believe that the most effective learning happens when it's enjoyable, engaging, and hands-on. My Experience
In 2014 I gained my PGCE with QTS qualification at Middlesex University. I have seven years' experience of teaching pupils in a classroom setting - ranging from Reception to Year 6. I have experience with supporting students in a special school as well as students with a range of learning disabilities. Working in London schools has given me the insight of supporting and working along a range of families and students with diverse backgrounds.
I have a track record of 'closing learning gaps' very quickly through small interventions as well as support one-to-one - whether it be Early Readers, grasping numbers concepts or spelling.
Aside to teaching young children, I also have experience of teaching yoga to adults. The skills I have obtained whilst being in a school environment has thoroughly supported me to plan and prepare, ensure that I manage my time well, as well as to remain engaged to a well-defined sequence with clear and concise oral communication.
