Hello!
I moved down to Cornwall last September with my partner, who is a boat builder. I love making art and did a degree in Fine Art in London, where I am from originally- drawing is probably my favourite creative pastime. Food and cooking are also very important to me! I take any chance I can to get outdoors- I love cycling, getting in the sea and going for walks- and I am happy to be outside in all weathers! While I always encourage children to spend time outdoors, I understand that some are not as keen on this as I am, so am mindful of this.
I currently work for Naturally Learning- a chain of nurseries in Cornwall- and have start training to become a Play Therapist and am doing a placement in a local primary school one day per week. I am keen to pick up a little extra paid work to support my training, as I work just under full time in the nursery and must fund my further studies.

My Experience
I have been working with children for 10 years in a range of settings, including nurseries, forest schools (early years roles), an after school club and holiday play schemes, as well as in various voluntary roles, such as summer school programmes. I have completed Level 3 awards in Forest School, Beach School and for the Children and Young People’s Workforce, which have shaped my holistic view of education and expectations of a high standard when working with children. In various settings, I have taken on specific roles around Special Educational Needs, including 1:1 roles, mostly with autistic children and young people, which have allowed me to build more detailed understanding of individuals’ needs and finding ways of supporting their participation within activities, daily routines and interaction with peers.
I have done voluntary work with various organisations, including running art sessions with charities for those experiencing homelessness, addiction, social isolation and mental health issues. I am currently training to be co-director of Youth Art Connect, a CIC for young people in Cornwall, where they can receive the benefits of being creative within an accepting group of others.

My Availability
I have outlined the times that I am available most weeks, which are mainly evenings and weekends at the moment. I tend to finish work at about 6:30 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, so have not selected these evenings but would be happy to offer after then occasionally, if needed.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
I charge £11 per hour but ask for minimum payments of £22 (so I would charge £22 for less than 2 hours of work)
