I have 14+ years experience developing children's personal growth in various environments including nurseries where I most recently worked for Buckingham First Nursery for 4 and a half years, as well as worked in various private households as a sole charge nanny.
My Experience
I have a genuine love, enthusiasm and energy for working with children and have significant experience in assessing child development and planning stimulating and playful activities to support their on-going attainment and growth through the EYFS framework.
I possess excellent verbal skills to communicate with children effectively and have the patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations. I enjoy planning activities that are appropriate to a child's/children's abilities, interests, language and cultural background and supporting their development through learning and play.
Promoting good personal and food hygiene with children whilst encouraging independence is something I take great pride in, and I always ensure children's areas are kept neat and tidy at all times.
I am Paediatric First Aid trained as well as Everyday First Aid trained and I am happy to bring children to and from activities and planning children's daily schedules.
