About Me
I have recently moved to Sheffield and I'm loving it! I'm originally from South African but have been in the UK for almost 10 years now. I am a huge nature lover so. Looking forward to spring and summer coming round. Love to go to dance classes and yoga, I enjoy baking and listening to music aswell.
My Experience
I have over 4 years of experience in childcare I’ve looked after and cared for many different children ages ranging from 3 months to 12 years.
The duties that I have covered over the years are a plenty. Whether it be changing nappies, preparing meals, assisting with homework or projects, evening babysitting, school drop offs and pick ups and holiday entertainment I’ve pretty much done it all!
In the past I have cared for children with severe allergies and tricky dietary requirements so I know the risk and dangers of cross-contamination and allergic reaction.
I understand the structure and boundaries that children need and thrive on throughout their day but acknowledge and know how to make it fun and entertaining.
I’m responsible, reliable and extremely organised and am also a big goofy child at heart!
My Qualifications
I have over 4 years of experience looking after children as a nanny as well as working in a preschool for a year aswell. I do not currently hold any qualifications but have plenty of experience with all ages.
My Availability
I freelance ghostwrite children's books in my free time which is super flexible so I'm available pretty much anytime Monday to Saturday from 7-6pm. Happy to be available for evening babysitting if needed.
