About Me
A fully qualified and experienced Primary School professional. My expertise is with Upper Key Stage 2 (Year 5 and Year 6) but I have recent teaching experience from Year 2 - Year 6. My specialist subject is Mathematics, which is the main form of private tutoring I am offering, but I also offer tutoring in Reading, Writing and Grammar, Puncutation & Spelling.
Locations for tutoring include most West London locations (Notting Hill, Holland Park, White City, Hyde Park, Kensington, Hammersmith & Fulham, Chiswick and Ealing).
My Experience
I am currently employed as the Head of Primary Maths for over 20 primary school at one of the UK's largest and most successful multi-academy trusts. Previously, I was an Assistant Headteacher whilst simultaneously teaching Year 6 where my pupils' academic results (2022) were 79% of pupils achieving the expected RWM combined standard, but specifically in Maths: 91% achieved the expected standard (+20% on the National Average) and 52% achieved of my students achieved the top/ Greater Depth Standard (2022). My strengths are providing individual pupil support to help pupils 'catch up' if they are working behind but additionally, I have a plethora of resources and strategies to challenge and stretch learning to achieve the top outcomes. Having taught in a diverse range of schools in London and Sheffield, I can cater for all children needs and for all primary ages.
My Qualifications
Degree: Primary Education (5-11) with QTS [2:1] from Sheffield Hallam University.
Professional Qualifications include: National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL) & National Professional Qualification for Middle Leadership (NPQML).
My Availability
My days of availability are Monday and Wednesday. However, I can be flexible from week-to-week based on child and family requirements.
My availability on Monday between 17:00/18:00-19:00 - Start time will vary bi-weekly.
My availability on Wednesday is consistently between 17:00-19:00.
The minimum tutoring duration is 1 hour. Alternatively, I can offer sessions for 1.5 or 2 hours long.

My Fees
- Tutoring from £30.00 per hour
My base fee for 1 hour is £30.00.
If a 2 hour session is booked, this will be at a reduced fee of £50.00.
