My Experience
I am currently a qualified nursery practitioner experienced for nearly 4years. I began my apprenticeship in the 1-2 room then moved on into the 2-3 room through time. I also attended level 1 makaton course which I teach the children in my nursery and will be continuing this into a more advanced course through time! I have special needs experience as my younger brother ( aged 10 ) was diagnosed with autism from a very young age and I have supported my mum throughout as times can be difficult for her as she is a single parent. I am part of the SSSC and have done many training courses through ( azilo training ) and have experience from different age ranges and also children with special needs. In my setting I’ve been able to work closely with the “curriculum of excellence “ supporting the children and providing different activities and experiences to ensure it fits each child’s needs and guide them through their development.
