About Me
Lovell's Daycare is situated in Gillingham (less than a mile from Gillingham train station). Nearby schools are Robert Napier (0.3 miles), Barnsole Primary (0.3 miles) and The Academy of Woodlands (0.7 miles).
I offer a safe, welcoming, home from home setting, with the use of a dedicated, spacious playroom and an enclosed garden that is accessible to use all year round. Providing a large range of activities based around the EYFS learning. I have a great love for creative (messy) play as well as taking the little ones on various daily outings such as the local parks, country parks and attending fun learning based playgroups.
Meals are provided, which will follow a structured, balanced diet. I can work with parents to accommodate any special dietary requirements, such as intolerances. Any baby formula or special dietary food will need to be provided by the parent.
I am the proud mother to two children born 2017 and 2022.
I take great pride in aiding the development and personal growth of children of all ages.
I hold a full clean driving license with business car insurance.
I hold a valid DBS and am signed up to the update service.
I hold public liability insurance and am registered with the ICO.
I am a Childminding UK professional member.
My Experience
I have 10 year's of experience with children from newborn to teenagers
I work along side families and provide care to children on the asd spectrum.
My Qualifications
Ofsted approved and CPD Certified with the following
• Understanding and Working with the EYFS
• Safeguarding Children
• Basic Food Hygiene
• Paediatric First Aid
As a professional childcare provider, I feel it is important to keep up to date with the latest developments, which I will continue to do through certified training courses.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.80 per hour
My daily rate starts at £58.00 per day
The above fees includes all meals and snacks (baby formula or special dietary food will need to be provided by the parent).
Wrap-around care
Before School = 7am until school drop off
After school = School collection to 7pm
Collection and pickup from The Academy of Woodlands.
The above fees for wrap-around care include breakfast and dinner.
I can accept childcare vouchers and 15/30 hours government funded childcare.

Katie provides amazing an amazing setting and amazing care! My son started with Katie in September and can’t wait to go there daily. She is a great childminder who provides a range of educational and fun activities and trips such as days out to Greenwich and to the zoo. She provides healthy and nutritious meals and my son never comes home hungry. As a character she is trustworthy, professional, kind and treats my son as though her own. Katie provides an open line of communication daily as well as pictures and updates. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to care for my son to such a high standard.

Katie is a brilliant childminder who always makes sure the children in her care have a great experience.
My daughter always looks forward with spending time with Katie, and enjoys the fun activities planned.
Whether it's taking them out to various places, or organising craft activities at home.
She's been really great with my daughter by supporting elimination communication, potty training and anything else that we need.
Would recommend Katie to anyone looking for a childminder

Our little girl has been going to Katie for almost a year now and I can honestly say our little girl loves and adores Katie.
Being first time parents we we’re very anxious to leave our 10 month old with someone other than our friends and family but soon as we went and met Katie and her setting all that worry was put at ease!
Katie treats our girl as if she was her own, everyday they are doing something fun from attending local play groups or visiting the farm or nearby parks!
Katie is so accommodating and understanding and not only supports Olivia she supports us!
Olivia loves her time there and it makes the mum guilt so much easier knowing this!
We’re forever be thankful for Katie’s love and support she provides us with!

Katie is a great childminder she provides a wide range of fun activities including trips to yhe zoo and farm. She also provides wholesome meals like a roast dinner. As a person she is professional , trust worthy, flexiable and always treats my daughter as her own. My daughter is always happy to go to Katie.

Katie provides wrap around care for my son who is at school. He has built up a good relationship with Katie and the other children that are at the setting. She is professional, caring and ensures the children all have fun no matter what length of time they are in her care. I highly recommend Katie for childcare.

Katie is by far the most amazing childminder I have ever come across.
She makes my son who potentially has special needs feel so welcome. He is treated like part of the family and gets so excited when we pull up outside.
The details accounts of the day and links to EYFS make me, as a parent, feel included and reassured that my son is receiving the best possible care

Katie has been providing fantastic childcare for my son. He is always looking forward to attending and enjoys himself very much. I receive updates on the activities of the day, which is very much appreciated. Katie is brilliant and her setting is a caring, loving family environment and I would recommend if you are on the search for a childminder 🙂.

Our little boy has been with Katie for almost a year now. He is not a child who will happily go to just anyone, so we were initially worried about him settling, but we really need not have worried. Katie's warm, calm and welcoming demeanour has made him feel as though he's part of the family from the very start. They go on so many outings and adventures and we get beautiful pictures and updates through the contact book. Katie is really supportive of his development and we feel he is in really safe hands. He talks about his day at Katie's all the way home! I would recommend Katie's setting to everyone (apart from selfishly, we want to keep her all for ourselves).

Katie has been the childminder for our daughter since I returned to work.
Katie has been wonderful for our daughter and very supportive to me in the early weeks of returning to work when it was hard on all of us
My daughter settled quickly and has been very happy with Katie. Katie puts on a lot of lovely activities and takes the children out daily. The food she provides for the children is top notch too.
On occasion that my daughter has been unwell etc - Katie has provided great care to her and I’ve always felt that my daughter was in very safe hands.
We have unfortunately had to change our childcare provider due to personal issues from our side and that is nothing to do with the care we have received at all
I would highly recommend Katie as a childminder - and would have gladly continued with the care as it was !
