We currently live in Hucknall. Our current home has a secured garden area to enable the children to play safely and free from harm. Our garden overlooks a green field with ample area to run and play weather permitting. We are a two minute walk from a small park and a ten minute (perhaps fifteen for little legs) from a woodland area with a river, park and a football field.
At home, there are lots of toys and activities for the children to access. I have an avid interest in 'messy play' so spare changes of clothes are advised, on top of lots of space to hang up various arts and crafts we may undertake.
We also have a family dog; a five year old Jack-a-poo called Roxy, so we tend to go on daily walks around the area.
My Experience
Having worked as a Social Worker for the last five years, in addition to caring for my own, son and multiple nieces and nephews I feel I have a wealth of experience. Prior to my career as a Social Worker I worked in a local bakery from the age of fourteen to the age of nineteen where I began employment in a Nursing Home for the elderly- which is where I gained my Level Two and Level Three NVQ in Health and Social Care.
My Social Work experience included Front Line Child Protection work, facilitating children to return home to their families if it where safe to do so, supporting children in foster family environments, supporting alternative family homes such as Child Arrangement Orders, Special Guardianship Orders or finding Adoptive families for young babies and children. In addition to this, I supported Mother and Baby placements and Residential settings, including the prison environment.

My Availability
My opening hours are Monday to Thursday 8am - 6pm, but if you have any other requirements please contact me and we can discuss how to accommodate your needs.
I happily accept funding and voucher payments however consumables are not included so may incur an extra charge.
I also offer babysitting services for my families.

I can praise enough Claire and her childcare place. She's very professional, well organised lady who look after our one year old son. A childcare she provides for children enhance our expectations. She offers various activities and it includes visits to the town, to the farm, to playground and to other places. Claire communicate really well about everything related to a child. I'm looking forward when my nearly two months old turns into age where she'll be eligible for a childcare too.
I can recommend this place without any doubts.
