About Me

I am an ofsted registered childminder, living in Woodstreet village, Guildford.  I offer term time only home from home care.  I am fully committed to ensuring your child is happy and thriving in a safe and nurturing environment.


I have a wide range of resources to suit varying ages and to meet all areas of the EYFS framework, these are freely accessible to the children to promote independence and self confidence.  I have a wide range of books and really enjoy engaging children in listening and responding to stories.


I also plan a variety of different activities to meet their different learning needs, ensuring I am aware of their progress and planning for their individual next steps.


I have a well equipped garden, with a wide range of play equipment including a sandpit and slide.  I live next door to a large wooded area, so we spend lots of time exploring, jumping in puddles and enjoying nature walks.  We also visit local parks, play groups and Elm Nursery (a local farm).


I believe communication is key to ensuring your child is settled and making good progress.  You obviously know your child best, so I’m keen to listen to how you think I can best support your child while they're in my care.   I always give feedback at pick up about how your child's day has been and I share photos and comments to give you a fuller picture of their day and the learning they’ve been involved in.
