My Experience

I was an au pair for six months in Tenerife, caring for kids aged 6 and 9 years old. I loved my experience dearly and grew so fond of the children. I currently care for a little one aged two, and we love going to soft play, heading to the park, playing in the house and I love spending time with him. We are very creative together and love to spend time outside, paint and do sensory activities. Another family I previously casually babysat for have 3 boys- aged 14, 11 and 6 and I would also do overnight stays with the kids, prepare dinner, help with showers and bedtime and breakfast in the morning. I also have two young nephews who I have spent a lot of time with since they were both newborns and I feel very confident working with children of all ages.

My Qualifications

Although I do not currently have any specific childcare qualifications, I have first aid training and a lot of experience with children of all backgrounds and ages. I also have great National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher exam results and I am going to the university of Glasgow in September to study my degree in Sociology and Social and Public Policy.

My Availability

I am very flexible and available most weekends, I currently nanny for a little boy aged 2, but my schedule changes with him every week so I can be very flexible. I am also available if you would require an overnight sitter on Saturdays too.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour

As I understand I am not fully qualified, I would accept a rate of £12 per hour depending on how many children I would be caring for, travel costs and the requirements, however this could be discussed and I am flexible with pay rates.
