About Me
Hi! My name is Dija, I’m a private tutor and babysitter from Cheadle. I am currently in my first year of University. I study Computer science with artificial intelligence in London. I have been around younger children most of my life, starting with my younger siblings and cousins and it's always been something I've never seen as a chore but a privilege. I’m a hard worker and reliable employee who is extremely flexible and available online and in person.
My Experience
I completed my education at Withington Girls' School and have a lot of experience looking after, teaching, and supporting kids from 18 months all the way up to 16 years. I have completed many child safety courses approved by OFTSED, worked in a care home, had work experience in a hospital in the cardiology and the seahorse ward. I have years of experience around children, including volunteering at multiple day groups such as Kids Allowed, David Llloyds Day Club, reading stories to younger children in my local library and helping out at Old Moat Primary School and Birchfields Primary School. I also have a certificate for an (online) advanced first aid course in addition to a Pediatric online first aid course. I also worked at Practically Family Holiday Club which included childcare from ages 3 to 13. I've also ran football and lacrosse clubs for children and been peer support for 8-14 year olds so my experience really is wide ranged :)
My Qualifications
I completed 9 GCSE's which include Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer science, religious studies and german. In addition, i completed Biology, Chemistry, Economics A-level and i taught myself Psychology A-level in 6 months. I achieved all my qualifications with the exam board AQA however, i have experience with Edexcel for maths and OCR for other subjects.
