My Experience

Nursery assistant at Maggie and Rose – 2016/2018

This role allowed me to establish that childcare was a profession I would like to
pursue. This role supported my understanding of the characteristics of effective
learning, and caused me to gain more experience in the field. This was a very
rewarding role and I was given a great deal of responsibility. I built a great repour
with the parents, improving my reputation, knowledge and understanding of the
early years.
• Private nanny – 2018-2021
During this time I was responsible for two little girls at the time aged 9 months and the other aged 3. This role included planning day to day activities for the girls, preparing their breakfast/lunch/dinner. Organising activities for them/playdates and
overall care for the girls.
Throughout this time I was able to help develop the
children's skills allowing them to better their understanding of the English language.
This position helped me work closely with their parents and helped to identify both
children's individual needs. I really enjoyed this role and being a part of such a
welcoming and caring family. Throughout these two years I have also worked closely
with a few other families babysitting and occasional covering nanny duties along -
side looking after the girls.

My Qualifications

I have experience in working with the EYFS, children development. I also have experience with child first aid and an up to date DBS.
