About Me
Hi! I’m Evie and I’m a Graduate at Cumbria University studying 3-11 Primary Education. I’ve been working with children professionally for 6 years, which includes a full time nannying role, within nurseries, schools or babysitting.
I have been around young children all my life and have always loved building close relationships with children of all ages. i have an extensive amount of experience due to my last full time job role, as a private full time live-in nanny, i had sole charge of a 3 year old, 7:30am until bedtime - this has grown my skill set, experience and confidence. I've also helped extensively with my younger siblings from birth, stepping in on multiple occasions, as well as working in multiple nursery's and baby rooms since being 16. I believe these experiences have been a great insight into becoming a responsible, adaptable and gentle care provider.
My Experience
My experience covers but is not limited to; sole care of 3 year old; from morning wake ups to bedtime routine, overnight duties when working trips with the family, taking children to appointments, attending various baby and early years groups, administering first aid, medication and caring for unwell children, supporting weaning, attending extra curricular activities and school trips.
Both my degree and diploma have extended my skills and allowed me to develop greatly in early childhood education, allowing me to understand a range of ages and what they entail. I recognise the importance of learning through play, in which i am able to extend and challenge individuals learning through a range of exciting experiences, games and creative crafts. I always show up prepared which ensures children can meet milestones and develop holistically. I love to be outdoors and active, I also love to bake and craft allowing me to engage with the children i care for. I have a lot of energy which allows me to keep up with the little ones! Most importantly I like to ensure children feel safe and loved in my care.
My Qualifications
I have completed both my Early years diploma and 3-11 primary education degree.
My Availability
Flexible, will be working in a school till mid July, however am able to work around your possible needs. Summer holidays weekdays availability.
