My Experience
I’ve always looked after my cousins and nieces. I come from a big family so we always had babies around. As I grew up I realised childcare It’s something I enjoy doing. Most recent ‘job’ was in 2021 when I looked after a 14 month baby full time, for 8 months as a live in nanny.
When I came to live in London in 2015, my cousin had a baby, and I was there for the first year every day, doing day to day routine and helping out with household tasks.
I had total care in both households. I was doing the whole day routine for the kids, making food, changing, taking to nursery and school, creating activities, exploring the outside world. Less screen time, more family/friends and play time! That’s how I believe kids should grow up, and I will be the person to make it happen every time I have the chance.
