About Me
Hello..my name is Carla from Little Learners Lingfield. I have worked in Early Years for over 10 years,in my most recent post,I managed an 'Outstanding' Preschool for 2 years.
I believe in a positive nurturing environment looking at the child as a 'whole ' ,
enabling children to be confident,resilient ,happy children.
We nurture creativity both indoors and out and allow each child to develop as themselves.
I have a lovely assistant Charley who works with me, who also holds a level 3 in childcare and is very caring and knowledgeable.
I am a mum of 3, so I understand that our little ones are so precious to us and finding someone to care for our children is a huge step and we just want them to be happy and well cared for.
I have installed a lovely playroom log cabin in our garden well equipped with its own facilities.
We also have chickens, that the children get opportunity to care for and of course collect the eggs.
Our household consists of myself and my partner and my son who is 12, eldest daughter who is 10 and my youngest who is 5
We also have a lovely golden Labrador called Molly, who has grown up with my children,but doesn't have direct contact with the children.

My daughter Alaia-Rose attended this setting from November 2023 for 6 months, she was treated with with best care!
Where she has a condition which means her eating is not great Carla and team were able to provide a solution to ensure my daughter was getting the right level of nutrition on a daily basis.
Carla was very accomodating to my family needs and was able to make quick changes to have Alaia.
Communication was great with Carla and I would always know what is going on with Alaia whilst in her setting.
Overall a fantastic place for anyones child to go to, Alaia had a fantastic time its a shame we had to leave due to distance to setting and also change of circumstances orherwise we would of happily stayed with Carla.

As first time parents we were understandably nervous about getting childcare for our precious daughter. Carla has made us feel comfortable and safe right from the beginning. We get daily updates on the activities, food and behaviour of our little one and can trust and count on Carla to provide the best care to our daughter.
The set up is fantastic, a little mini nursery type set up with a big outdoor area which has been great.
We know that our daughter is in very safe hands which made the whole process so much easier and every day our daughter looks forward to seeing Carla which is the biggest compliment we can give.
We would not hesitate recommending Carla and everyone at Little Learners to anyone!

My boys have been with Carla for almost 9 months now. I was worried going back to work when my baby was just 3 months old, and Carla immediately put me at ease. She has been minding my baby and my toddler and doing a fantastic job. They both feel totally at home and love going to Carla’s everyday. She provides homemade healthy meals, a huge garden full of outdoor toys as well as the daily activities she plans for the kids. Carla has always been kind, warm hearted and I’m very thankful I found her.

Our little boy has been at Little Learners for nearly a year and has been absolutely soaring. Carla has been so kind and lovely, she made my Husband and I feel at ease and we could tell our boy is so well taken care of. He loves going to "Carla's house" and is always happy and clean at pick up.
Highly recommend the lovely setting incorporating plenty of outdoor and sensory play. My son has had the most wonderful summer. Carla does a wonderful job, is flexible, and catered so well for my little boy's many allergies and big appetite. We've been so happy with Little Learners and most importantly, our little boy has loved it so much.
