About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder & home care registered.
I am committed to providing a fun, friendly and safe environment for the children in my care.
I endeavour to provide children with stimulating learning opportunities that reflect their age and stage of development through play and every day experiences. I understand that each child is an individual and treat them with care, empathy and respect.
I believe in working in partnership with parents; welcoming ideas and encouraging parents to provide me with comments and suggestions, we use Cradle app for daily diary and have set up messaging groups with parents for effective communication.
I run my setting professionally, attending training opportunities, respecting confidentiality, keeping organised records in accordance with current guidelines.
I have clear policies and procedures, I am committed to providing a reliable service that parents can depend on and in which they can place their confidence.
I am based in Tilehurst , walking distance from the Tilehurst station/Waitrose near norcot roundabout and kentwood hill.

My Experience
I have raised 3 children of my own & have years of experience of helping Family with 15 nephews & niece’s & have learnt a considerable amount about each stage of life from birth to teenage years.
I also have experience of working with children & families from diverse communities.
My Qualifications
Level 3 childminding course
I have achieved A levels in health & social care.

I’m so glad to have found Irania to care for my toddler (17 month old). She’s a reassuring combination of being both caring and professional. Irania has created a safe and happy environment, and the right amount of structure with crafts, singing and stories, and also free-flow play, to keep little ones entertained. She’s also the only person other than me who can get my toddler to sleep, which is such a relief! I can highly recommend her!

Thank you so much for trusting me.
Irania has been looking after our little one for one month and our toddler stopped crying very early on when we dropped him off. We have also noticed he's improving his movement and social abilities.
Irania keeps us posted with how things go every day and by the use of the Cradle app we can see our LO schedule with no need to worry about it.
Irania has been very accommodating and flexible with any requests we have had and this helps a lot with our transition to working life. We highly recommend her.

Irania is simply amazing. I have never felt so comfortable leaving my child with someone. As a first time mum she’s been so supportive and professional at the same time. She pays close attention to my sons needs. Each day I see him becoming more confident. When he comes home and tells me all about his day it makes me happy and confirms I made the right choice.

Leaving your child with someone for the first time is really tough. But our minds were put at ease when meeting Irania. She has a weekly plan, is very nurturing and has done everything possible to make her home as secure as possible. Our daughter loves to go there and for us we know she is getting the best possible care. Would highly recommend

Irania is just the most wonderful childminder. She is patient, nurturing and very responsible in providing top-quality care. Such a warm and kind childminder who my daughter absolutely adores. Irania is also very understanding with my work schedule and is an absolute delight to speak with. She goes the extra mile in childcare and goes above and beyond to ensure my daughter is safe and well cared for. I couldn’t recommend her enough.

Was initially very happy with Irania but got informed 2 weeks in that she wouldn't be able to watch my 13 month old anymore due to health issues. Was very let down by this and just wished she had been honest from the start about the sort of child she wanted to look after. Because of the sort notice of this dismissal, I haven't been able to find alternative care for my child and therefore affecting my return to work.

I highly recommend Irania, my daughter loves going to her.
I feel secure and confortabil when my daughter is with Irania and my self I am.at work .
My daughter always is happy when I drop her to Irania and after I pike her .
I recommend this lady with all my heart!

Irania looked after my 11month old when l needed emergency child care.
The idea of leaving him with someone was extremely daunting but after an initial visit with Irania I left very reassured. Irania impressed me with her certifications and the daily timetable she has for the children in her care
She would send me pictures during the day which was really reassuring and my child was very happy in her care.
I would be happy to recommend Irania!
