About Me
I adore working with children of all ages, but my real passion is caring for babies and toddlers.I’m full of energy and love for life and would consider myself a very happy positive person. I have taken care of children since I was 14 and have been a nanny for the past 3 years. I love to travel which has led to working and volunteering abroad with children. I have a gentle "big sister" approach to my childcare and love building trusting relationships with children and parents. I have an array of my own toys, books and crafts to bring along, as well as my own JOIE360 Carseat.
My Experience
I have been a Nanny to a beautiful, now 4 year old and her 16month old brother for the past two years. I have alongside worked occasional jobs for several families with the majority being babies and toddlers and a few families with older children. The past two years I have spent the winter/easter peak weeks in a Creche in Switzerland with a luxury ski company, looking after several children at once. Im also a qualified gymnastics and trampoline coach which I have worked in for the past 8 years alongside nannying. This led to lots of babysitting from the age of 14. I am confident in sole charge with children of all ages including newborn. I spent 6 weeks in mexico volunteering with children who couldn't afford school and spent January 2024 in an orphanage in Bali looking after 24 under twos. I am very comfortable with all nanny/ babysitting duties eg Bottlemaking, nap times, transporting, bath/bed times, play skills, creativity, activity/outing planning etc. I am also a occasional personal assistant for young lady with cerebral palsy so have experience peg feeding, wheelchair and house use.
