About Me
My name is Lou I am a mature married lady of 53 with 2 grown up children.
I am working for a family on Mondays and Tuesdays, I have availability on Wednesdays and Thursdays until end of November 2024.
I am self employed.
I enjoy trips out, walking and children’s craft.
I love to use play with children to help them to develop positive relationships.
I am very sociable and would enjoy taking children to groups/activities in the community.
My Experience
Over the past 30 years I have worked in both private/social care/education and charity sectors, I have looked after and supported 0-17 year olds. My passion is looking after babies.
Over past 20 years I have used my knowledge and understanding of children to support families who have required support working as a Family Support Worker and most recently a Positive Well-being Worker.
I have supported parents at home and in groups to be the best parents they can be as part of multi agency response.
I have nurtured children in school to support children’s positive well-being.
I have changed direction following a long and successful career and have been working as a Nanny for a private family for over a year and worked for A childcare agency offering emergency childcare.
I have good knowledge of food and nutrition and am able to cook a well balanced nutritional diet.

My Fees
- Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)
I will be charging £16 per hour plus mileage for any miles travelled during working day at a cost of 45p per mile. (Not charging for travel to family home or return journey)
