About Us
Sunhill Day Nursery Granta Park is a purpose-built nursery using the latest eco friendly building technology and is ideally located for busy parents. The nursery provides full time and part time care for children aged 0-5 years.
Located just 10 minutes from Cambridge city centre, the nursery is ideally located in Granta Park for those parents travelling to work in Cambridge or the park itself. The nursery also provides easy access for those travelling to London, Newmarket and other surrounding areas.
We are very proud to follow a blended EYFS and Montessori approach to our learning. The nursery is a custom built setting consisting of 4 age appropriate rooms. The nursery rooms are spacious and bright, providing carefully chosen natural resources and equipment for each age group.
Each room has access to its own garden area, 3 of which have canopies to shelter from the rain. The ground is laid to astro turf and each garden has a wide variety of resources, such as climbing frames, tunnels, planks of wood, crates, sand pits and mud kitchens. The largest garden, for the over 3’s, has a large water fountain and also a wildlife lookout tower, which overlooks the woodland area.
The children are encouraged by the nursery team to explore their environment freely and discover new things along the way. This helps the children to become curious and confident learners.
We are open from 7:30am - 6:30pm Monday to Friday for 51 weeks of the year (we are closed at Christmas and on bank holidays).
